Will I be doing independent exercises every session? No. At NUDOC you are always in contact with your therapist. We do have Physical Therapy Aides on staff to assist you in achieving proper form for each activity done in the clinic, as well as instruction for exercises done at home (HEP).Will I be expected to work through the pain?No. In fact, pain is frequently used as an indicator that a patient is doing too much and may actually be impeding their own progress. In some cases, particularly after surgery, some pain can be expected, however there is a difference between appropriate and inappropriate pain. Our clinicians will monitor your pain levels throughout the recovery process to assure success and optimal outcomes.How can I set up a consultation / evaluation? If you already have a referral for Physical Therapy, let one of our representatives know and leave the rest up to us.    Use our contact form to set-up your appointment, or call : 866.684.9280 Do you accept my insurance?  We have established relationships with most insurers. Currently, we accept coverage from the following providers: Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Health Alliance Plan, PPOM and many others. Please call us for questions you may have regarding your insurance.**If you have chosen to forego the use of insurance as a form of payment, we do accept private pay patients.What is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)? The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree serves as a credential, similar to the MD for medicine, the OD for optometry, and DPM for podiatry.
